Camping is an age-old way to connect with the outdoors and each other. Since 2021, park staff have transformed well-loved park areas into weekend-long, temporary campgrounds to provide a variety of overnight tent camping programs. Together we explore camping classics such as s’mores, canoeing and fishing, and also offer new experiences in campfire cooking, tie-dye, astronomy and nighttime exploration.

A tent camping kit includes a tent and fly, one sleeping pad per person and a lantern.

If you find yourself excited to camp, but lack the gear or experience necessary, we’ve got you covered! At no cost, prospective campers can reserve a camping kit equipped with the essentials: an appropriately-sized tent and fly, one sleeping pad per person and a lantern. Whether you register for a family or adults only camp, park naturalists will be available throughout the program, providing numerous activities and ensuring a wholesome, worthwhile and positive experience.

Be on the lookout for our 2023 camping program offerings, each with a unique overnight experience. Adventure awaits!
