SMP celebrates 50th anniversary of Earth Day by sharing “green tips”

April 22, 2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, a day established in 1970 to raise public consciousness about environmental concerns. While we’ve made significant progress in some areas, the planet still needs our help in many others — and there are steps each of us can take every day to do our part. To help, Summit Metro Parks will share “green tips” in each 2020 issue of Green Islands magazine. Clip them out, stick them to your fridge and start making a difference today!
